AI slop, cognitive surrender, deskilling, epistemic debt - whatever label you choose to slap on it, there seems to be an emerging phenomenon that AI is making us dumb.

‍But would that stop us humans from using the technology? I believe not, because the same discussion has occurred for pretty much every technological innovation, from printers, calculators to washing machines.
